Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara

The room was very spacious and well appointed. The shower had good water pressure and Balmain amenities that were good. Right next to the newly opened Pavilion Damansara Heights and had a lot of food choices. DC Hall was next door and quiet. Like that it's away from the hustle and bustle of KL city. Car park was safe and affordable (not complimentary even for hotel guests) - well-lit and have security

Room: I stayed in two different rooms. One was oddly large and featured a wooden panel with a single nail sticking out of it-unevenly hammered, bent, and looking like it belonged in a horror movie set or a home DIY fail. Whatever was supposed to hang on it had either been stolen or evaporated into the aesthetic void. The whole thing screamed “dilapidated charm” but mostly just screamed. The room also had a slightly forgotten vibe, like I was the first guest in ten years. The other, smaller room on the opposite side was spotless, well-maintained, and generally gave off the “someone cares” feeling. Breakfast: I didn’t have time to try the main breakfast, but the club buffet was fresh, well-organized, and inviting. Everything was clean and fully stocked. There were other options I didn’t get to explore, so I’ll reserve judgment, but first impressions were solid. Pool: (Didn’t get to try it-my schedule was tighter than that bent nail in the wooden panel.) What I did like: The late checkout option is a game-changer. Being able to leave later made the whole stay more relaxed and enjoyable, and honestly, more hotels should follow suit. Overall: The location is convenient, and there’s a great restaurant nearby-Towzen, which is absolutely worth a visit. Sofitel Damansara could use a bit of an engineering tune-up, but the bones are there. Just, maybe, fix the nail.

The staff here are incredible, very welcoming and accomodating. Room was spacious and clean. A great pool, which was quiet so we often only had to share it with a handful of other guests. We also ate at the buffet for dinner on the first night. An incredible selection of sushi, meats, local cuisine and desserts. It was also priced very fairly, and we received a 15% discount as staying guests. Highly recommend, a quality hotel at a fair price!!

It is located near Pavilion Damansara, so the area is newly built including the hotel. The room is spacious with all the amenities you need. Bathroom is really big. And the bed is really comfortable. Probably the biggest King Bed I have ever slept on. Check in is seemless and fast. The staff are very professional and polite.

Excellent location. and now with pavilion next door, very convenient for food and shopping. staff were very helpful and courteous. unfortunately, didnt have time to use the pool and gym.
